We are hiring a Construction Safety Technician to join a well-known entertainment company in Lake Buena Vista, FL.This freelance position will be fully onsite Monday - Friday and will be running for 18 months.

• Salary Range: $120K-$140K (hourly equivalent, based on level of experience)

Responsibilities:

• The implementation and sustainment of key safety programs for their designated businesses
• Independently driving above average incident reduction results achieved through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics
• Support field construction sites across hotels and other site refurbishments/upgrades

Required Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of site construction safety management experience
• Strong OSHA knowledge
• Experience managing 3rd party vendors/General Contractors
• Must have experience with risk assessments, safety plans, investigations, technical evaluations and technical reviews
• Functions independently and therefore must have strong communication skills to keep leadership appraised of activity, issues, and concerns
• Must have experience with MS Office (Outlook, PPT, Excel)
• Flexibility to modify one's schedule during the workday to accommodate changing priorities
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 or more hours; working in inclement weather; wearing appropriate personal protective equipment; lifting/carrying; climbing steps; ladders; and, scaffolds
