Position Summary

The Construction Site Safety Lead works closely with the Site Manager and Craft Supervisors to ensure the safe and compliant completion of the project. This position is expected to lead and influence the construction team to effectively remove or reduce risks. This is an on-site, hands-on role requiring the management of permits, conducting training, site inspections, and constant coaching to ensure safe execution of every task, every day. 60% of the workday will be spent in the field. US project locations may be remote, lasting from 12-30+ months.

Position Responsibilities

• Daily coordination and implementation of the HSE Management System
• Site SME for PROENERGY Life-Saving Rules, Procedures, Permits, and applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
• Conducts orientations and training as required
• SME for initial incident investigations
• Injury Response and Management in accordance PROENERGY guidelines
• Organize and maintain required project safety and compliance documents
• Manage and account for project safety supplies and tools
• Works closely with the Site Manager and Site Supervisors to sustain and improve a positive safety culture
• Provides reports and other deliverables to management, the client, and the Director of safety as directed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in construction safety management or similar experience.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
• Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
