As a Construction Supply Operations at Tesla, you will play a pivotal role within our Infrastructure team, contributing to the construction of cutting-edge factories. You will collaborate across functions to coordinate construction material buyouts, ensuring seamless delivery and buildouts of Tesla's Energy and R&D facilities. This role involves managing RFQ processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and closely partnering with internal stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs to source construction materials and services
• Identify new vendors to diversify the supply chain and maintain a robust vendor database
• Conduct bid analysis and provide recommendations for bid awards
• Execute material fulfillment processes to support project teams effectively
• Coordinate with vendors, material handlers, Project Managers and other internal stakeholders to manage material flow while ensuring timely deliveries
• Develop expertise in procured commodities to offer cost-effective solutions
• Enable efficient project reporting by supporting teams with structured data collection

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Experience in purchasing and making budgetary decisions for a company
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
