Job Description

The Consultant, Commercial Initiatives Product Owner is responsible for supporting key strategic Digital transformation efforts focused on the Exchange Digital Platform deliverables, support, change management, and performance while following Agile Methodology. The position will collaborate with the Commercial Strategies Team and Commercial Portal Product Owner, work with senior leaders across every department and line of business of the Enterprise, and partner directly with the Digital Services Groups to execute on key initiatives and further ensure the Digital Platform is responsive to the needs of the broader organization. This position assists with complex Enterprise projects across the Commercial Bank, while assisting with multiple other significant projects that will have digital transformational impact on the enterprise. This position will be involved in the largest and most impactful projects in the history of the Commercial Bank for BOK Financial.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will assist with complex projects across the Commercial Bank, including the digital transformation of the Exchange platform, while assisting with multiple other significant projects that will positively impact the enterprise. You will own certain digital products in their entirety with oversight from Exchange Digital Portal Product Owner.
  • You will collaborate with the Commercial Strategies team, work with senior leaders across BOKF, IT Groups, and partner directly with the BOKF Digital Services Group to plan and execute key digital initiatives and further ensure the Exchange Digital Platform is responsive to the needs of the broader organization and has strong platform health and security.
  • You will leverage Agile Methodology for managing and executing on the Exchange Digital Roadmap by actively participating in the agile scrum process to ensure commercial digital initiatives and epics are being accurately prioritized and implemented through the product backlog.
  • You will follow Change Management practices for successful implementation of Exchange Digital Roadmap.
  • You will leverage commercial banking knowledge to assess, plan and execute the needed activities to promote and ensure Roadmap success and (ultimately) Digital Platform sustainment.
  • You will share the Roadmap vision and keep key stakeholders informed and engaged through effective and timely communications and updates.
  • You will serve as a key resource on the Exchange Digital platform, processes, concepts, and questions.
  • You will participate in all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for the Exchange Digital Platform: Discovery, Requirements, Oversight for Development / Testing, Deployment Planning and execution, Issue Resolution, Backlog Management, Support, Measurements (KPI), and Maintenance.


Education & Experience Requirements

The required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field and 5+ years of experience in product ownership or 10+ years equivalent work experience .
  • Solid knowledge of Commercial Banking Digital Platform SDLC for Digital channels - Web and Mobile Apps
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of BOKF-related: Treasury Services, Wealth Management, Lending Digital Customer Access, Bank Operations, Okta, Commercial Digital Onboarding
  • Strong knowledge of Agile software development processes with demonstrated experience coordinating teamwork flow in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, Database Tools such as MySQL, PowerBI
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and create clear, coherent requirements to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize sound business judgement and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Self-motivation, discipline, task focus, and a proven record of delivering high quality results within strict deadlines as well as within budget
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to persist through ambiguity and move ahead regardless of barriers
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across disciplines and with cross-functional teams
  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain complex vendor and strategic partner relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to identify common themes and solutions
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF, as well as ability to present complex information and issues in a clear and concise manner
