Consulting, Solution Specialist

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have one year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires one year of related work experience in each of the following:

• Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), Joint Application Development (JAD), and Joint Requirement Planning (JRP);
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models and process models utilizing Microsoft (MS) Word, Visio, and Project, and Lucidchart;
• Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), visualizations of data trends, and data models by utilizing MS Excel, Pivot Tables, and SAP Ariba Reporting in order to support business and functional requirements within the Healthcare, Oil and Gas, or Consumer industries;
• Creating technical design and unit test case documents to track test cases and issues utilizing Atlassian Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and MS Azure;
• Designing and developing applications using SAP Ariba, Material Management (MM), and S/4HANA to meet functional needs for software applications
• Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development utilizing Agile, and Waterfall methodologies;
• Architecting, implementing and supporting SAP Ariba, Contracts Management, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Integration Suite; and
• Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing ServiceNow.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
