Under the general direction of the Program and Project Supervisor, the incumbent will act as a mid-level technical expert, perform analysis of Consumer Affairs Branch (CAB) consumer data, participate in monitoring and reviewing Commission proceedings to determine relative impact on consumers, and potential for consumer contacts and complaints made to CAB. The incumbent also manages moderately complex CAB projects, independently handles workstreams, and facilitates and presents at meetings for intra/inter-agency conferences, workshops, plus public meetings. The analyst will consider diversity, equity, and inclusion in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and internal processes.

Describe your direct experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative economic, regulatory, and financial analyses; this should include examples of gathering and synthesizing data along with the depth of Excel, Tableau, GIS mapping, and other business intelligence tools used to support your analysis and present your findings. Describe example(s) of when you took the initiative on work assignments and managed projects that involved leading the collaboration with internal and external team members, facilitating meetings, and setting and meeting milestones and deadlines while exercising independent judgment. Describe how you developed and maintained positive working relationships with individual team members, management, and colleagues to complete work products and resolve problems. Describe your experience with providing excellent written communication skills, this should include examples of written reports and presentations that communicated complex ideas simply through words, tables, graphs, and pictures to persuasively articulate conclusions or recommendations.
