Content Policy Manager, Core Policy Responsibilities


  • Help craft and implement content policies that take into consideration the need of a global community.

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to drive policy improvements.

  • Articulate philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties including management, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage high-impact policy development across our business platform and document findings of study and prepare recommendation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.

  • Observe the current system in operation and gather and analyze information about each of the parts of component problems, using a variety of sources.

  • Identify policy gaps, consider data, and collaborate with cross-functional working groups to reach a consensus on solutions within a fixed timeline.

  • Collaborate with senior managers and decision-makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and clarify management objectives.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Operations Research, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a program/project management or market/operations specialist-related occupation. OR Employer will accept four years of work experience in the job offered or in a program/project management or market/operations specialist-related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

  • Requires four years of experience in the following:

  • 1. Overseeing end to end management of the policy development cycle including coordinating policy development across numerous policy areas and surfaces as well as managing the policy implementation and launches process

  • 2. Effectively liaising with a broad set of cross-functional partners such as Global Operations, Vendor Management, or Trust & Safety teams

  • 3. Resolving escalations pertaining to policies

  • 4. Identifying process gaps and making efficiency gains across a number of different internal processes

  • 5. Building and designing visually effective documentation and materials for briefings, presentations, and day-to-day meetings
