Position Objective:

Responsible for the management, analysis and execution of supply contracts within the Luminis Health Supply Chain department to enhance GPO contract compliance, facilitate financial and contracting accuracy and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Assists Manager, Sourcing and Contracts in the development of requirements for Requests for Proposal, invitations for bids, and multi-year procurement packages.
  2. Primarily responsible for maintaining contract pricing compliance with GPO contracts and Luminis ERP. In support of GPO compliance, may run RFQs, evaluate bids and proposals, negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal price comparisons; builds analysis and makes recommendations; performs statistical analysis of all data gathered through research or negotiations to support contract awards.
  3. Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of GPO contract portfolio analyzing and executing requests for new contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  4. Responsible for evaluating and identifying new savings and standardization opportunities between multiple GPO Portfolios.
  5. Works closely with the value analysis program and in conjunction with the Value Analysis Manger; conducting analysis, negotiation and contact execution on new supply requests.
  6. Performs contract review ensuring appropriate communication on any and all compliance related issues.
  7. Responsible for loading, updating and maintaining executed Contracts in the appropriate contract management system and repositories. Ensuring the information is up to date and accurate. Assists management with analyzing, tracking and reporting best practices for benchmarking purposes.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree required or 5 years of healthcare supply chain experience [ .
  • Computer skills required in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, database management and web based analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, written, interpersonal, independent thinking and communication skills required.
  • Detail oriented.
