Davidson is seeking a Contracts Administrator for Huntsville, AL.
The Contracts Administrator will work with our Contracts Department and Technical Leads. The Contract Administrator will provide the support needed to execute all phases of the Contract lifecycle, from pre-award through Contract closeout, and administer/manage solicitations and Contracts in accordance with all applicable government procurement regulations (e.g., FAR & DFAR) and company policies and procedures. These will require the individual to prepare solicitations, negotiate all aspects of contract performance, draft terms and conditions; obtain management approvals, negotiate change orders and claims, and close out subcontracts. Additionally, the incumbent will conduct market research, advise management on all acquisition planning matters and determine the appropriate contract type for each procurement effort. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and can interface with all levels of the organization in a positive and productive manner.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience with support of government contract preparation, analysis, solicitation, award and administration of federal contracts or subcontracts required
- Support RFQ/RFP requirements
- Ability to review non-disclosure agreements (NDA's) and teaming agreements (TA's)
- Ensure compliance, analyze risks, and maintain contract records
- Support and participate in cost proposal negotiations
- Prepare and present briefing packages for management review and sign-off of proposals
- Knowledge in Deltek Costpoint and Microsoft Office applications
Desired Competencies/Experience/Certifications:
- National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Membership
- Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certification
- Certified Procurement Professional (CPP)
Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance
