Job Summary and Qualifications

The Contract Administrator is responsible for updating, maintaining, and tracking all pertinent information related to all in-house contracts that are active/in-active in various spreadsheets. Acts as a liaison between management, division and corporate legal counsel.



Develop and maintain appropriate tracking log for all contracts whether existing.



Knowledgeable of the contract management systems for both physician and non-physician contracts. Ensure that contracts uploaded into these systems are current and comply with all regulatory compliance. Ensures that physician contracts meet the elements of the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute. Monitors the expiration dates of physician contracts to ensure timely renewal.



Assist the Assistant CFO with timely processing physician timesheets.



Responsible for the auditing of the physician contract log to comply with HCA's Ethics and Compliance Standards.



Responds timely and professionally to requests from leaders, Executive Team, Legal, Division, and physicians, concerning contract execution.



Timely completes all HCA mandatory training related to physician relationships.

Engages with physicians and their staff in a professional manner; timely responds to their requests.



Uses job knowledge and proficiency of skills to successfully assist in orientation of new employees.



Shares new knowledge with peers and mentors those with less experience.



Attends and actively participates in unit meetings.



Seeks opportunities to impact the growth of the organization by promoting excellence in patient experience and providing high quality care to the patients served.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Prior experience in acute hospital medical entity preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of contracts/agreements administration preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Must have strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Job may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis
  • Must be comfortable presenting to C-suite level


Compensation is based on experience and would land in the following range: $41,516.80- $61,275.20
