Control System Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Control System Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI (Onsite) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in Powertrain & Electrified . Candidates must have proficiency in development of next-generation powertrain control software as well as recent experience to integrate control systems for automotive applications .

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Control System Engineer Job responsibilities include:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Simulink.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years of proven experience in integrating control systems for automotive applications
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

• Experience with development and diagnostic tools.
• Previous experience in developing algorithms for powertrain controls.
• Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and diagnostic protocols.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools for development and verification purposes.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
