Controller/Financial Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Controller/Financial Analyst from a Federal background to join the team sitting fully remote. The Controller will be responsible for the following:

The Federal Contract Specialist/Pricing Analyst will work closely with our Business Development team throughout the proposal process, from planning to labor rate calculations, cost spreadsheets, and post-award contract administration
Analyze proposed prices, forecast trends, and estimate service costs
Evaluate subcontractor bids and perform cost analysis
Develop pre-negotiation positions and support contract pricing negotiations
Support the Financial department with reports, budgets, and ROI analysis
Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to program managers and senior leadership
Compile proposal package documentation for presentation to executive managers
Identify contracting issues
Stay informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends
Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
Assure a high level of quality in performance of all work
Perform other corporate assigned duties

Required Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in federal government contracting and experience building labor-related pricing proposals
Bachelor's degree in finance or 5+ years' experience in government contracting and financial analysis
1+ years' experience in using Deltek Financial System
2+ years in professional services managing federal government contracts
2+ years' experience in building FFP, CPFF and T&M-related pricing proposals
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables and formulas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong decision-making skills
LOCATION: Remote within San Antonio, TX or DMV area
