An Industrial Engineering company specializing in mechanical and control systems commissioning and decommissioning is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. As a Controls Engineer, you will design and build control systems for conveyors for various clients within logistics, manufacturing, and air travel industries. You be responsible for programming PLCs and troubleshooting issues on site. You will work with AutoCAD, Rockwell Software, Allen-Bradley hardware, and network design. The position includes about 30% travel to various sites within the US for commissioning (no more than 5-10 days at a time). This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire (will go permanent after 6 months). A federal background check and drug test are required upon an offer being extended.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years AutoCAD design experience for industrial control panels

5+ years' experience writing & troubleshooting PLC ladder logic.

5+ years hands-on field experience troubleshooting and starting up industrial automated equipment.

Willing to travel approximately 30%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Rockwell Automation - RS Logic 5000, RS Factory Talk View (Graphics package)
