The Inflight Services department includes flight attendants and the teams that support them



Job overview and responsibilities



This coordinator will assist with supporting the inflight team. This position will support with the development and monitoring of yearly budgets, rolling forecasts, and adherence to financial plans.

  • Administer policy and processes to assist with cost management, staffing, business operations consistent with United and government regulations
  • Validate scheduled work/absence adjustments and submit monthly Pay Certs for COBUS-filled positions
  • Assist with development of IES/COBUS monthly work calendars/schedules and audit schedules for compliance with company and government regulations and flight attendant union agreements
  • Schedule FAA AQP Line Check completion module for year and execute elements including scheduling and reporting


Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Finance or business
  • 1-2 years of administrative work experience
  • Ability to actively perform tasks and duties assigned in a timely and responsive manner
  • Project management experience, ability to plan and direct projects from inception to completion
  • Strong analytical abilities and be highly proficient with communication and organization skills and the ability to balance multiple projects
  • MS Office
  • Must be able to prioritize work, function in a high-pressure, fast paced environment and meet stringent deadlines for completing tasks
  • Attendance is required at work location
  • Willing to work some holiday, weekends, early/late hours, as needed by training operations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels (Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written)
  • Ability to respond positively to changes and constructive feedback
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of business or finance experience
