ONSITE POSITION - NOT A REMOTE OR HYBRID POSITION

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring ongoing Brand Marketing and Sponsorship activations as well as fulfillment activities for PRCA sponsors and promotional partners. Tasked with meeting long-term deadlines and implementing sponsor and promotional programs. Responsible for working with internal departments to ensure sponsor and partner expectations are being met. Responsible for ensuring Athlete marketing materials are up to date.

Essential Duties:
  • Works with Director of Licensing and Brand Marketing to ensure the complete and accurate execution and fulfillment of all sponsorship contracts as they pertain to Athletes and Athlete endorsements.
  • Works with Brand Marketing and Graphic Designer on the development of Athlete sales sheets for sponsorship proposals and ensures they are kept up to date.
  • Works with Athletes to ensure all endorsement requirements such as patches, social media posts, appearances and/or video content are being met.
  • Coordinates and ensures completion of contracted deliverables, marketing materials, invoicing, and payout for sponsors.
  • Maintains communication with sponsors and provides internal and external sponsorship reports as they pertain to endorsements as needed or directed.
  • Communicates updates and shares photos and/or video with Athlete sponsors.
  • Orders, approves designs, and ensures distribution of Contestant jackets, buckles, saddles, and other Athlete awards. Responsible for any required 1099 information and submits information to accounting in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates payments to Athletes for merchandise sales and endorsement deals.
  • Secures approvals from Athletes for all merchandise sales including the NFR Back Number T-shirts
  • Orders and distributes annual NFR jackets; facilitates sizes and appropriate patches for 400 jackets.
  • Works with Graphic Designer to maintain and update company sponsorship ad kits and guides.
  • Assists in the planning and coordination of events
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Previous experience in sponsorship services preferred.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, professional rodeos preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities.
  • Consistently maintain technical skills and knowledge of industry.

Work Environment:

Works in an office environment with occasional travel out of state. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, stand, and periodically lift. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Demands:

This is a largely sedentary role; however, physical movement is required. Requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, stand, and periodically lift. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
