Coordinator, Hospital Office - Noninvasive Cardiology

Full-Time / 40 Hours / Days (Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p)

Summary:
Coordinates both internal office functions within the Noninvasive Cardiovascular departments as well as outside departments including but not limited to inpatient testing areas, physician offices and staff to maximize efficiencies.

Formal Education Required:
a. Associate Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and /or experience.

Experience & Training Required:
a. Three (3) years experience to include working with computers in an office coordinator role or similar setting.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
b. Working knowledge in maintaining computer software, patient files, and medical terminology in a complex medical environment
c. Ability to organize, multitask, make decisions and implement actions on behalf of the manager regarding setting up meetings, making changes to the schedule, answer phone questions.
d. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
e. Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal communications skills, communications skills, computer literate, assume accountability for assigned tasks and work flow decisions.
f. Must be detail oriented and flexible.
g. Knowledge and experience of hardware/software and trends in the healthcare industry environments a plus.
h. Ability to vision long term processes and project management skills.

Level of Physical Demands:
a. Light: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously.

$19.35/hr - $23.22/hr

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
