What Will I be Doing?

The Hotel Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Responsible for maintaining and managing distribution channels, such as online travel agents (OTAs), direct channels and wholesalers.
  • Participate in promotions and campaigns through all distribution channels.
  • Research and troubleshoot rate and availability issues to maintain rate parity.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and market managers.
  • Analyze data and market trends from various extranets and reporting to better understand markets and develop outstanding promotions and campaigns.
  • Work directly with revenue and inventory teams to develop marketing strategies that improve revenue budgets.
  • Work directly with our automation team to ensure rates, inventory and reservation delivery is pushing accurately for all partners.
  • Ensure that connectivity is setup correctly for current and new partners.
  • Responsible for updating and ensuring all content is listed accurately on our property websites, including third party sites.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly updates for assigned regions recapping current and possible marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain and update all hotel marketing spreadsheets for tracking and production purposes.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, specific to assigned regions.
  • Represent HGV brand in related partner events and conferences.
  • Utilize and become proficient in Hilton systems, including our in-house point of sale system: Clarity.
  • Ability to run, navigate and analyze productions reports on both internal and external programs.
  • Ability to respond to emails in a professional, timely manner.
  • Assist the Hotel Marketing Manager and the Hotel Marketing & Distribution senior management team in all requested job duties and/or projects and events.
  • May be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Work in a data-driven environment.

What Are We Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality environment or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as keen analytical skills. Person should have a strategic thought process, with a thirst for knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and work effectively under time and resource constraints.
  • Basic to intermediate digital literacy with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet.


It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality partnerships and channel distribution.
  • System connectivity experience, specifically TravelClick.
  • Experience with online travel agent extranets and understanding of wholesalers.
