Description

  • Oversee and facilitate trainings, coaching supports and programs for campus monitors to support campus intensive needs
  • Visit and regularly monitor assigned campuses to conduct observation of morning arrivals as well as day-to-day campus monitor duties and provide feedback based on observations
  • Respond immediately to campuses in crisis, provide hands on support during the crisis, and participate in after action follow up
  • Develop, lead, and implement strategic activities to identify and respond to schools in critical need of short-term support
  • Analyze and compile data to use for decision making and strategy development to create action plans for various campuses using various problem-solving skills
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of student learning opportunities that includes, but not limited to, growth mindset, culturally responsive practices, technology, self-advocacy, problem-solving, critical thinking, etc. in order to use these resources when responding to campuses in need of support
  • Attend district-wide, cross-training sessions to ensure knowledge of district programs and department initiatives such as assisting with District Intruder Checks
  • Participate in the roll-out of initiatives and resources to support the alternative school as well as campuses requesting support based on data alignment
  • As assigned, when needed work with identified students to support the implementation of all programs related to ensuring students are successful with academics, attendance, and behavior
  • Collaborate with Student Services Staff to develop presentations and learning opportunities to support building cohesiveness, culturally responsive practices, and classroom management


Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor's degree from accredited university
  • Required 3+ years of related experience
  • Ability to create, implement, present, revise and differentiate learning opportunities for various audiences and levels of mastery.
  • Effective leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.
  • Successful experience in practices which improve content knowledge and pedagogical skills.
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral language skills
  • Demonstrates ability to work and communicate with diverse audience
  • Demonstrates excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft, Excel and Oracle
  • Demonstrates ability to work with multi-ethnic populations in an urban multicultural setting
  • Demonstrated ability to present to audiences of varying sizes
