Florida State University will soon embark on its next comprehensive campaign. As the silent phase of the campaign begins, the Division of University Advancement is accelerating the hiring of additional Alumni Engagement professionals' campus-wide and is excited to build out its team. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining University Advancement Communications electronic communications primarily via email marketing and other web platforms. This position's primary responsibility is for all email marketing and communication for Seminole Clubs and volunteer leader communications as needed.
  • Manages all mass e-communication and distributes email campaigns for the Seminole Clubs and volunteer leadership communication; responsible for content, working collaborative across multiple departments and priorities. Works with clubs, leaders, networks and communications to create and advise email marketing strategy. Identifies areas of synergy to balance strategy with volume of e-communication.
  • Develops reports that provide data and insight to behavior in order to evaluate club communications and services; provides analytics, usage and marketing reports on all aspects of communications.
  • Creates and manages all online surveys for advancement through platforms such as Qualtrics and Add Event. Assists other digital media coordinator and serves as email backup for all email marketing including alumni association and university advancement.
  • Assist in maintaining Seminole Club presence online through website and monitor social media to ensure branding compliance.
  • Partner with Volunteer Engagement team to build project-based SPARK pages for FSU's Great Give and ensure all pages follow the DUA style guide to ensure significant engagement in donor participation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
  • A valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License, or the ability to obtain.
