Job Description:

Educational and Institutional Capacity Development -
•Leadership of the Global Fellows program - recruitment, award processing, design and delivery of workshops, identification of key issues in international research, networking, evaluation, tracking, and impact studies.
•Support with other programmatic efforts involving UFIC funding, e.g. RADs, Ad Hoc Faculty Request, Post Doc Awards
•Liaise with campus units (including within UFIC) supporting international research (e.g., Office of Research, Global Food Systems Institute/IFAS, Title VI centers) to identify international research support needs.
•Assist with annual reporting of UF faculty's international research activities.
•Support faculty in searching for international funding, e.g., through Pivot and other search engines.

Outreach, Marketing and Communications -
•Promote internationalization opportunities among faculty. Organize info sessions and panels. Recruit participants for programs.
•Coordinate marketing for faculty professional development programs with OGRE.
•Collaborate with UFIC Communications (and other UFIC units as needed) to promote global engagement opportunities.
•Maintain OGRE website with the aid of the UFIC webmaster.

Events Management -
•Assist with OGRE events, such as Fulbright Awareness Month (March).
•Help receive international visitors and delegations.
•Aid in the preparation of travel and itinerary coordination for outgoing UF delegations.

Expected Salary:

$50,000 - $55,000/annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in relevant field

Excellent organizational skills

Friendly, professional communication by email, phone, and face-to-face

Research experience (conducting research, writing, and publication)

Grant or contract experience
