Tasks
As the Corporate Communications Specialist and Project Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

• Development of public relations activities and media projects
• Editing press releases, creating media material and presentations
• Researching and responding to journalist inquiries and requests
• Media monitoring and research
• Coordination of press events
• Exposure to the North & South American media market and its effect on corporate communication strategies
• Ad hoc projects and administrative duties

* All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

• Advanced students with strong academic performance
• Previous experience in public relations and/or journalism preferred
• 2 semesters completed in a German College before the start of the internship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, motivated, energetic personality; creative writer
• Commitment to customer service
• Ability to handle different projects simultaneously
• Good working knowledge of PC (MS Office)
• Fluency in English and German; Spanish and/ or Portuguese languages are an advantage
• Must possess work authorization in Germany
• Must have a work-permit for the U.S. or fulfill all criteria to get a J-1 visa for the U.S.
