General Description: The Corporate Market Management Analyst will work with insurance carriers and field associates to ensure smooth transfer of information and the acquired books of business in the USI systems.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding acquisitions and/or organizational changes with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Analyze insurance carrier code structure to be able to communicate the business being acquired.
• Review incoming insurance carrier contracts for compliance with USI standards.
• Agency appointments which include completing agency profiles and other required paperwork.
• Investigate and resolve field and carrier inquiries using available data and documents.
• Handle calls and meetings with insurance carrier and USI associates at various levels.
• Facilitate setup of associate access to carrier websites, download of carrier data, commission payments, tax reporting and invoices to accounting for carrier Appointments Fees, if required
• Communicate with field associates, accounting and operations regarding any changes to agency/producer codes.
• Escalate contracts and carrier issues when appropriate.
• Follow through until completion of carrier changes such as: executed contracts, agency appointments, commissions paid to USI and business moved.
• Refer producers for appointments and provide support to the Enterprise Licensing Center "ELC" with licensing guidance and information.
• Track progress against metrics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR AN INSURANCE BROKER OR CARRIER IS REQUIRED
• Manage multiple insurance carrier tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to handle and adapt to high volume in a constantly changing environment.
• Work collaboratively across multiple locations and with team members
• Ability to prioritize deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in word, excel, and database management.
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include walking, sitting, standing, bending, and typing.
Analysis of Physical Demands:
• Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.
• Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand, and bend.
• Occasionally (1%-33% of time) walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.
• Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.
