The role you'll contribute:

The Manager of Corporate Responsibility (CR) assists the Regional Corporate Responsibility Officer (RCRO) with general administration and oversight of the CR program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews, promotes and evaluates compliance and privacy issues and concerns within the Southwest Region, including its hospitals and physician groups.

Assists the RCRO with tracking and reporting on regulatory changes, performing research regarding regulatory requirements, and advising team regarding education and training related to regulatory requirements. Assists the RCRO with performing compliance risk assessment, performing monthly reviews of progress in completing all audits and monitoring tasks required by the AdventHealth (AH) Corporate Responsibility Hospital and Physician Monitoring & Auditing Plans, and completing compliance and privacy audits and investigations at the following hospital facilities and physician group markets:

SW Hospital Facility :

• Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South (THH)

• Texas Health Hospital Mansfield (THM)

• AdventHealth Central Texas (AHCT)

• AdventHealth Rollins Brook (AHRB)

SW Physician Group :

• Texas Health Medical Associates (THMA)

• Family Medicine Center (FMC; Lampasas and Copperas Cove)

• AdventHealth Medical Group

The value that you bring to the team:

• Assists Regional Corporate Responsibility Officer (RCRO) in setting strategy for the annual work plan, completing the audits and monitoring tasks in the AdventHealth (AH) Monitoring & Auditing plan, and addressing high risk compliance and privacy issues that may arise.

• Assists RCRO in implementing CR policies, procedures, training programs

• Assists the RCRO, legal counsel, and operations leaders in ensuring appropriate maintenance of forms, information notices and materials reflecting current organizational and legal practices and requirements as prescribed by state and federal laws

• Assists in the coordination and scheduling of monitoring and auditing activity for the Hospitals and Physician Group entities

• Presents Corporate Responsibility educational sessions to Leadership and Staff, as assigned by RCRO.

• Performs compliance and privacy investigations, FairWarning investigations, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) investigations, HelpLine investigations, and other investigation activities, as assigned by and under the supervision of the RCRO.

• Assists RCRO with CR Committee meeting preparation and administration and provides other meeting assistance as needed, including chairing in the absence of the RCRO

• Assists the RCRO in the completion, review, and analysis of results of audits and monitoring activities, and prepares reports detailing the findings

• Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. Attends educational offerings to remain current in area of expertise

• Other responsibilities as assigned

• No direct supervision responsibilities

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in healthcare, compliance, physician practice Operations, ethics, patient privacy, auditing, regulatory affairs, law, or a combination thereof.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience developing compliance/privacy programs

• Experience handling complex compliance/privacy investigations

• Healthcare compliance certification required or obtained within first year
