Overview of Westchester SC

Westchester Soccer Club (Westchester SC) is the first home-grown professional soccer club in Westchester, NY. Located in one of the densest area's in the United States and in the United Soccer League's (USL) market, the club aims to bring top quality professional soccer to the NY area with the goal to compete for the championship every year. The club will have an Academy which shows a strong commitment to nurturing local talent and the club aims to build a world-class development pipeline for both boys and girls in the Westchester (and surrounding) areas.

The club is dedicated to celebrating the region's profound love for soccer through exciting game experiences and community-focused events.

The club's first team will play in the professional league USL League One (USL1) and the Academy will participate in the USL Academy and Super Y league.

Job Summary:

Under the leadership of the Director of Corporate Sales, the Corporate Sales Rep with help with new and renewal sales through the responsibilities below

Sales Responsible for the following
  • Identify and solicit new local and regional corporate sponsors
  • Identify sponsorship leads, prepare and present proposals
  • Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients
  • Identify new ways of generating incremental revenue/minimizing expenses for the organization
  • Prepare weekly reports to be discussed with Director of Corporate Sales
  • Provide corporate sponsors with proper level of client service and support in order to maximize the sale of sponsorships and return on investment for corporate partners
  • Meet or exceed sales goals


Customer Service Responsible for the following:
  • Analyze each client's pain points, preferences and likelihood to renew
  • Develop relationship with each and every corporate partner
  • Establish standard operating procedures for communication between these customers and the organization
  • Analyze customer profiles to deliver customer preferences and individual needs
  • Work closely with the other departments in the organization to deliver the assets for corporate partner events
  • Work with the Director of Corporate sales to fulfill customer expectations and deliverables
  • Manage a service team while creating, presenting and executing a strong strategic vision
  • Execute new strategic vision for customer service based on trends in the industry


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required
  • 1-3 years of sales/customer service experience with a pro team, stadium, arena, or public assembly facility
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required
  • Knowledge of ticketing and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Effective time management skills
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • Natural aggressive style and positive attitude
  • Superior presentation skills
