BASIC PURPOSE: Facilitate the talent acquisition process by providing communication, coordination and administrative support to the talent acquisition team and key stakeholders.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer and coordinate job candidate communications such as interview confirmations, offer letters and denial letters.
  • Act as point of contact for talent acquisition team, candidates, and hiring managers throughout the hiring process, including interview scheduling.
  • Support talent acquisition initiatives by serving as a company ambassador, including at virtual and in-person career fairs, onboarding orientation and other employer branding efforts.
  • Assist talent acquisition team with sourcing and candidate screening as needed.
  • Initiate background check and pre-employment drug screen process. Follow up with candidates to ensure completion of processes as required. Review drug test and background screening results, act or escalate as needed.
  • Facilitate the flow of candidates throughout the recruitment cycle using HRIS. Maintain current status or disposition of each applicant within the applicant tracking system.
  • Review and process I-9 documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of Human Resources experience in a clerical and/or administrative capacity.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Must be proactive, organized, accurate, detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must demonstrate ability to adapt and adjust according to business needs or unforeseen circumstances. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to engage with team members at all levels of the company. Customer-centric abilities and communication skills to handle inquiries or concerns from internal and external parties. Sound judgment and discretion are essential when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Knowledge of or ability to learn accurate data entry and research proficiency in PeopleSoft HRMS and SharePoint.
