Career Opportunity

The Lewisburg location is seeking a Corrugating Operator who is responsible for inspecting, marking, and transfer of corrugated sheets to the sheet line or converting areas.

How you will impact WestRock

* Perform quality checks and analyze the necessary movement of the material.
* Ensure material flow is constant and efficient.
* Perform basic math skills
* Use of a calculator and tape measure is vital.
* Responsible for the operation of the corrugating equipment
* Performs other job duties as assigned

What you need to succeed.

* High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
* Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, average and use a calculator.
* Must be able to add and subtract fractions.
* Must be able to read a tape ruler measuring in 16th of an inch.
* The technician must be familiar with operation of the rotary shear knife, anti-skid applicator, slitter/scorer, and cutoff knife.
* A strong commitment to working safe.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* A strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery.
* Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
