As a SME Cost Estimator for SOCOM PEO RW provide support and direction for estimating & audit professionals ISO SOCOM Acquisition Executive (AE). Provide cost estimating, financial analysis, and program and acquisition management support. Advise and ensure PEO RW has accurate and effective rate development and cost estimating/analysis for major investment decisions, system design trade-offs and risk, technology, and market assessments.

Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Financial modeling on software development and weapons systems acquisition
• Apply industrial engineering, program management, operations research, and data science analytic techniques to complex acquisition problem solving and recommendations
• Provide cost estimating, financial analysis, and program and acquisition management advice
• Assist major investment decisions, system design trade-offs, and risk, technology, and market assessments
• Support both classified and unclassified projects
• Interface at the executive level of decision making with direct support, briefing, and advice
• Develop and support agile data-driven requirements estimates
• Understand and advise on polices related to Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCE) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE)
• Support Classified AOA/CBA studies for senior decision makers

Qualifications:

Qualifications Required:

Must have one of the following combinations of experience and education:
• Completed Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and fifteen (15) years of experience
• Completed Ph.D. in a relevant degree field and five (5) years of experience.

• Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be have an active TS-SCI (current SSBI) by date of hire.
• DAWIA Level III Business and Financial Management
• ICEAA (formerly SCEA) Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCE/A)
• Office of Secretary of Defense certified Level III Financial Manager in Cost Estimating.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working on-site in a government client environment.
• Experience with DoD Acquisition Lifecycle,
• Knowledge of best practices related to cost estimating in the SAP environment.
• Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
