Job Summary and Qualifications

The materials transporter assists the smooth running of the Medical Center by efficiently responding to requests for samples/and or other items movement from one department to another. Ensures proper operation of hospital vehicle(s); communicates appropriately with clients and co-workers.

General Essential Functions:

• Picks up from and delivers samples and/or other items to other HCA facilities
• Properly operates hospital vehicle(s)
• Sorts, delivers and picks up samples and/or other items from designated office buildings
• Other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:

• Strong customer service and critical thinking skills
• Ability to read and write
• General computer knowledge
• Current and Valid TN driver's license with a good driving record
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to carry samples and/or other items to and from the car
