Summary:
The Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) is a City of Cambridge department administered by the Cambridge Health Alliance, a regional healthcare delivery system. It protects and promotes the health of everyone in Cambridge, particularly those most vulnerable, through services, information, policies, and regulations. As a member of the CPHD, the student performs duties that support different teams with tasks and projects. The student will rotate through the various divisions as necessary and based on their skill sets to provide a balanced internship experience.

Responsibilities:
Supporting teams with various tasks and project activities, including comprehensive administrative support.
Demonstrating a deep understanding of the services provided by CPHD to the community and offering innovative ideas to enhance the department's operations.
Proactively taking on designated, business-focused projects to conduct thorough research, propose creative ideas and effective solutions, and deliver a compelling final project during the internship.
Tailoring additional skills training to match the student’s existing skill set.
Providing well-considered suggestions to management for elevating customer service and refining internal processes.
Mastering internal software systems and becoming proficient in their use.
Playing a key role in generating comprehensive performance reports.
