CRE Relationship Manager - Analyst

New York, United States of America

Responsible for supporting senior Relationship Managers with client relationships, including attracting and retaining new clients and strengthening current relationships. Activities include maximizing cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling. Provides support to help clients coordinate solutions. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolves customer issues.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Consults with customers in all aspects of servicing the portfolio, takes appropriate action to manage and retain the portfolio.

Assists in marketing strategies that are used to sell Santander's CRE products and services.

Assists in the coordination of the credit approval process for loans or the sales process for non-credit sales, complying with internal policies and procedures.

Gather information, evaluate options and offer viable solutions.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or equivalent field (Req)

Work Experience:

Banking experience, 1-5 years (Req)

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent relationship building skills at all levels in an organization.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to identify specific knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for satisfactory execution of the position's primary duties & responsibilities.

Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.

Detail oriented, common sense decision-making.

Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
