Native American Student Engagement Liaison

The successful candidate will be responsible to serve as a Monitor attendance/truancy - including home visits, and written communicate in collaboration with staff including dropout prevention.
Provide academic or non-academic support for students who are at risk of not being successful in school.
Identify struggling students through data review and referrals and connect students with the academic support services offered within the community and at school site.
Improve the academic success of students through encouragement and support of a seamless transition from preschool through post high school.
Provide opportunities for teachers/staff and families to develop strong partnerships and enhance communication between parents/families and school staff.
Facilitate parent input of the school/family involvement plan.
Develop programs and activities designed to engage families in improving student achievement to increase parental participation in programs and school activities.
Maintain accurate records of children participating in all activities offered.
Work competently with tribal youth, adults and the community.
