Job Description:

National Security Analyst Senior Advisor

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a National Security Analyst Sr Advisor at GDIT in support of the ATLAS contract under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) International Operations (IO) programs, particularly the Operational Analysis (Ops) activities supporting government leadership's administrative, performance, and mission execution needs. You'll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence and generate investigative cases for HSI Special Agents. Our work depends on National Security Analyst Sr Advisor joining our team to advise and enhance the law enforcement and intelligence analysis support staff and directly engage with our IO client to enhance the coordination, execution, and generation of intelligence and investigative activities as guided by the DHS HSI IO mission. This will include engaging with IO leadership, analysts supporting multiple task areas, and more.

HOW A NATIONAL SECURITY ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide experienced intelligence, law enforcement, military, and/or other analytical perspectives to enhance the efficacy of investigation and intelligence products produced in support of IO mission activities
Evaluate methods of improving use of products, tools, and other capabilities to analyze, collect, document, report, and track the inputs and outputs of various IO initiatives, investigations, operations, and programs
Analyzes, defines, and develops methods, procedures, and/or reporting to support various domestic and international activities to further the IO law enforcement and intelligence missions
Coordinate with relevant contract and government staff to enhance and support collaboration with designated and relevant mission partners to include other IO units, foreign, law enforcement, intelligence, and other partners
Collaborate via relevant government staff with other IO units to drive investigative cases and intelligence products, to enhance efficiencies, and to identify critical problem sets and/or threats based on operational and programmatic areas of responsibility
Will have direct engagement with contract and IO leadership and support overall contract performance, meeting expectations and obligations while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and mission evolution

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI Eligible

Required Skills and Abilities: experience in law enforcement, military, and/or intelligence community support to include investigation, intelligence, government briefing, and/or policy/ guidance development

Preferred Skills: experience in investigation, intelligence, analysis, and/or report writing, with knowledge of visas and immigration laws and procedures to also include government criminal, intelligence, investigative, reporting, and/or travel databases

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $157,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
