We are looking for a talented Trainer to join our team specializing in Production Training for our Cummins Recon Plant in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may coach others.
• Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
• Fully proficient with all work processes, independently operating equipment to manufacture and assemble product to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability.
• Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
• Works with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• CNC Operation/ troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Flexibility and willingness to work multiple areas to include VG Disassembly and all salvage cells to enable meeting of production targets.
• Trains employees and holds them accountable for working safely, with proper PPE, and following standard work.
• Takes initiative to do what is right, to raise concerns, and communicate effectively for continuous process improvement.
• Keep accurate data on takt boards to include downtime, maintenance tasks, scrap, ergo rotations, and gaps for future problem solving.
• Willingness to work 3rdshift and overtime as needed.
• Previous training, teaching, or instructor experience is a plus.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
