In accordance withestablished professional and departmental standards and procedures, performscomputerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidanceof a radiologist.

Responsibilities:

• Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Demonstratesproficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department's radiologyinformation system.
• Accuratelyinterprets and follows physician's scanning instructions and prescription.
• Usesindependent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CTimages.
• Educatespatient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure.

• Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic TechnologyProgram with ARRT Certification.

• Certification in CT is highly preferred.Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire.

• Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably withPhilips experience.

• 3D Imagingexperience highly preferred.

• Current Certification in Basic Life Support.

• Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within onemonth of hire date.

• Ability to workas a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficientteam.

• Excellentcommunication skills.

• Ability to workindependently.
