The Jr Sous Chef position requires an understanding of a kitchen operation within the hotel. They must focus on the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. The Jr. Sous Chef will work different areas of the kitchen to include the Banquet Kitchen and Main Kitchen.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and skills in kitchen operations
  • Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
  • Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
  • Strong training and communication skills
  • 4 years minimal culinary experience
  • Kitchen supervisor experience preferred
  • ability to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours work schedule
