Our Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Customer Care Center is currently seeking an account technician to assist the Personal Lines account managers by servicing policyholders of the Cincinnati Customer Care Center on behalf of our independent agents.

Many departments at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio, offer hybrid work options, empowering associates to work from home several days a week. Depending on your role and responsibilities, hybrid options may be available for those working at headquarters.

Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 hourly. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:
  • process requests received from policyholders
  • use technology and resources to complete tasks and policy renewals
  • maintain an assigned territory size and volume
  • maintain overall quality and efficiency of work performed within the team
  • process renewals and endorsements
  • receive, analyze and issue requests via assigned task, mail, phone, fax or e-mail
  • follow up on requests and initiate renewal activities
  • meet high demand of requests within stated service standards while maintaining accuracy


Be equipped with:
  • the ability to clearly communicate using both oral and written communications with policyholders and agents
  • the ability and willingness to collaborate with others, which includes being flexible and open to change
  • analytical and decision-making skills, including strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • the ability to work independently under time constraints while recognizing when to ask for assistance
Bring education and experience from:
  • high school diploma required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • the ability to pass the Property & Casualty Licensing exam
  • maintain license through continuing education according to state requirements
