Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle and process incoming quotes from vendors
- Check account statuses, update account information, and input new customer data into the system
- Manage new machine orders, including follow-ups, PO receiving, and invoice requesting
- Collaborate closely with the controller to send invoices to customers and maintain up-to-date accounts receivable status
- Directly communicate with customers to manage standalone orders effectively
- Undertake various office tasks such as shipping/receiving packages, answering telephones, filing documents, and ordering office supplies
- Collaborate with the logistics team and customers to manage all shipments and related documents
- Assist with service warranties, installations, work order assignments, and part ordering when necessary
Customer Service Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Previous experience with CRM tools is preferable, but not required
- Prior experience in the machine tool industry is preferred
- Proficient to advanced use of Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Anticipate a typical office setting with periodic exposure to manufacturing environments. Manufacturing settings may present potential hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and both automated and manual machinery
