About The Role

Reporting to the local Operations Lead, the role provides prompt, accurate and courteous support to the commercial service team. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, a background in insurance and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Pulls electronic mail daily and records in agency management system.
  • Monitors agency management system for misapplied mail and activities
  • Issues Proofs of Insurance per procedures
  • Assists Account Managers with Renewal Information Requests, Processes applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, loss runs, audit requests and other items related to the servicing of clients.
  • Request routine policy adjustments as directed by Account Manager
  • Report claims to the carrier
  • Provides support to Producers including preparing presentations and proposals
  • Data entry in the agency management system
  • Policy processing including pulling policies from websites and attach in the agency management system, check policy for accuracy (comparing it to the proposal and agency management system) and handle corrections according to agency guidelines, transmit policies electronically to client.
  • Review Activity follow up list on a daily basis and take appropriate action.
  • Consistently establishes and maintains high levels of trust and confidence with Account Service team by promptly responding and resolving services requests and issues;
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Set priorities and manage workflow for self to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities;
  • Maintain cordial and effective relations with clients, co-workers, carriers, wholesalers, vendors and other business contacts;
  • Maintain up-to-date proposals, workflow logs, manuals or other required documentation and records;
  • Interact with others effectively utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals for the Company;
  • Stay informed regarding industry information, new product/program developments, coverages, legislation, technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance;
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and accurate information in both written and verbal format.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects according to deadlines and urgency.
  • Flexibility, willing to "wear many hats" and assist team members in any other capacity relating to client services.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience with Applied Systems Epic CRM is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities;
  • Strong ability to multi-task and assign priority;
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision;
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently;
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an insurance agency or wholesale brokerage.
  • Property & Casualty Agent License required.

Pay Details:

Hourly: $24 - $28
