vTech Solution is looking for a bright & dynamic incumbent for the position of Cyber Cloud Architect. This person will be responsible for maintenance of our organization's cloud computing system. They will be responsible for developing cloud strategies, evaluating applications and hardware.

Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate will be a part of an Information Technology team that delivers Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity Solutions and Services to our customers in government and commercial space. Primary responsibilities include Cloud/Cyber solution Implementation, Delivery, Solution Architecture design and business pre-sales support.

Daily Duties

• Engage with potential clients during the pre-sales phase to understand their business requirements and present tailored solutions that demonstrate our capabilities and address their needs.

• Development of comprehensive proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the proposed solutions' business value and technical merits.
• Design practical, creative, and cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements and are aligned with the company's overall IT architecture.
• Facilitate discussions with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Create detailed solution design documents that outline the architecture and technologies needed to implement the solution.
• Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable integration of new software and systems into the company's IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and consulting during the solution development and implementation phases, ensuring best practices in software design and coding are followed.
• Operationalize and deliver managed service projects - Cyber, Cloud.
• Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company.
• Assist in the development of architectural and design standards to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product applications.

• Lead threat modelling and risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and execute strategies to mitigate and address these risks.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and services that enhance our cloud security posture.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices, vulnerability assessments, and regular security testing.
• Lead security awareness training and education initiatives to ensure developers and application teams are familiar and competent in secure-by-design methodologies.
• Partner with development and platform communities to facilitate community steering of enterprise security roadmap.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously enhance our security strategies.
• Participate in internal solution development and positioning to customers for Cloud/Cyber security solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Solutions Architect, or in a similar role, with at least 3-4 years in a client-facing or consulting capacity.
• Strong software architecture and design understanding, including cloud computing, web services, and backend integration.
• Extensive experience with at least one major cloud service provider i.e. AWS, Azure (AZ-305), Google Cloud. Minimum one certification at solution architect level and Security + CISM is a plus.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and drive projects to completion.
• Knowledge and Experience with ITIL processes, NIST standards, System Assessment and Authorization process (FISMA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps tools and management of underlying infrastructure is required.
