Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME)

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide support in the conduct of the cyberspace operations planning activities in support of 67th Cyberspace Operations Group missions. Provide assistance with intelligence planning, ensuring activities are integrated and synchronized with organizational battle rhythms as well as the planning of Cyberspace Intelligence Operations. Articulate requirements for JIPOE (Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment) and other products that support planning. Provide support in the conduct of the Cyberspace Intelligence planning supporting combined/joint exercise and training events, to include Joint Event Live Cycle and Cyber Mission Area events and provide trip reports and summaries of meetings/planning conferences as required.
PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI - Willing to take Polygraph
Education/Certifications: Associates degree or equivalent combination of cyberspace exercise planning and intelligence analysis support.
Relevant Experience: 7+ years' experience with Cyber planning and operations subject matter expertise
Key Requirements: Task-oriented, expert time management skills

PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day assistance with analysis of current AF OCO platform, access/connectivity, and tool infrastructures to draft operational requirements, evaluate technical solution proposal(s) and provide integration recommendations/options regarding current and future technologies.
- Be familiar with current Air Force and USCYBERCOM Cyber needs submission processes. Interface with operational units, senior decision makers, developers, acquisition personnel, and the group technical director to compile, coordinated, and submit requirements as well as oversee the development of and transition to operations. Identify and integrate applicable information assurance processes and its applicability to the OCO infrastructure protection mechanisms and related defensive cyberspace mechanisms and its applicability to the OCO infrastructure protection requirements.
- Submit and track requirements for OCO platforms, access and/or tools to satisfy mission needs.
- Review and provide comments on operational policies, CONOPS, directives, and Rules of Engagement (ROE) for exercise support.
- Provide Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) for reviews when comments or corrections are required.
- Provide operational and strategic support for projects and efforts to modernize, improve, and sustain units' mission and objectives.
- Review and analyze requirement documents, such as CONOPS and Operating Concepts, and report analysis to the Government.
- Provide written documentation and briefings after technical forums.
- Maintain electronic records in an appropriate electronic Government approved shared location.
- Report status of required documents IAW Contract Deliverables will include engineering designs, project objectives and milestone (POAM) plans, briefing, trip reports, and meeting minutes.
