As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for providing detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber-attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities in support of the mission!

What You Will Be Doing :
  • Characterizing and performing analysis of network traffic and system data to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resources.
  • Performing security event and incident correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise.
  • Performing cyber incident triage to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact; identifying the specific vulnerability and making recommendations which enable expeditious remediation.
  • Tracking and documenting cyber incidents from initial detection through final resolution.
  • Analyzing and assessing damage to the data / infrastructure as a result of cyber incidents.
  • Performing cyber incident trend analysis and reporting.


Required Skills:

Must Have :
  • MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
  • B.S. or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • CSSP-IR certification required (e.g. CEH, CySA+).
  • IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification.
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies.
  • Working knowledge of database and operating system security.
  • Understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

Nice to Have :
  • Experience working in a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment.
  • Experience with COTS technologies used in a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment.
