Insight Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Process Improvement Specialist to join a world leading company in food, beverage, scent, home and personal care company headquartered in New Jersey. This person will be joining to optimize and automate existing workflows, with a focus on enhancing security and efficiency. They will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and optimizing current cybersecurity processes. They will identify automation opportunities, working closely with the ServiceNow team to implement secure workflows. The role involves developing and presenting recommendations for process enhancements, creating comprehensive documentation, and advising on cybersecurity best practices. The specialist will act as a liaison between technical teams and leadership, ensuring all improvements align with organizational policies and procedures. They will focus on enhancing security and efficiency across various processes, including website access requests and approval workflows, while maintaining a strong emphasis on risk mitigation and cybersecurity principles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and process improvement, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business needs. This role will be a six month contract and ideally like to be local to the New Jersey/New York area and travel when needed to the office.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices
Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives
Familiarity with Zscaler and other cybersecurity tools
Understanding of cybersecurity operations and risk management
Excellent documentation and presentation skills
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Background in cybersecurity engineering or operations
Familiarity with penetration testing outcomes and remediation strategies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with or knowledge of ServiceNow platform (preferred)
Experience with workflow automation tools
