We are looking for a Cytopreparatory Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and, as needed, complex technical procedures related to the preparation of specimens. Work Hours: 08:00am - 04:30pm (subject to change)

• AA degree; experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
• One to two years experience in a laboratory setting

Work Hours: 08:00am - 04:30pm (subject to change)
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Maintain functional, working and practical knowledge of staining procedures, filtration and other specimen preparation techniques common to cytopreparatory laboratories.
- Understand and maintain knowledge of underlying principles of histologic techniques and staining for the purposes of problem solving and methods of specimen collection.
- Assist with slide preparation and rapid stains during needle aspiration procedures in surgery, ultrasound, CT scan, and Outpatient clinics.
- Use Epic Beaker LIS (highly preferred)
- Have familiarity with cytology procedures, ie Thyroid FNA, EUS, EBUS
