Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Clean, organize, and merge data from multiple databases using Excel.

Use statistical tools to identify, track, and analyze trends and patterns in donor data.

Assist with weekly client screenings, special projects, and database management.

Provide Director of Annual Giving & Donor Relations and Senior Director of Development weekly report on CVM fundraising trends, tracking number of gifts from multiple donor constituencies and channels with comparisons from previous fiscal years.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist with development related events. Responsibilities may include: preparation prior to the event, setting up and breaking down.

Assist with the UGA Pet Memorial program. Donors can make a gift in memory or honor of a special companion animal. This individual will assist in the preparation of letters sent to honorees informing them of this kind gesture.

Position Summary

In this position you will have the opportunity to join a passionate, dynamic team and advance the development efforts of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. The CVM Development & Alumni Relations office is seeking a highly-motivated individual to help implement and assist with a variety of important development activities for the college. Special projects include, but are not limited to: assisting with weekly wealth screenings of 15k+ annual UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital clients, use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and track patterns and trends in donor data, and helping with donor and alumni events. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving & Donor Relations and must have the availability to work 10 hours/week.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellence in both verbal and written communication
  • Expertise in statistics, analyzing, and creating visuals for data
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Detailed oriented
  • Individual must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Appreciation of philanthropy and the college's mission
