We are seeking a motivated and skilled master's level student or recent graduate in Human Genetics, Genome Bioinformatics, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field to join our team at the University of Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities:
 Curate (wrangle, clean, and reformat) de-identified phenotype data exported from a large clinical REDCap database of children with traumatic brain injury (R programming skills required)
 Prepare data for submission to the Database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP)
 Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data curation procedures and automate processes for future database changes / growth
 Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing workflows and findings
Requirements:
 High school diploma
 Proficiency in the R programming language
 Strong attention to detail is a must
 Ability to work independently
 Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Recommendations:
 Bachelor's degree / Master's student status is a plus
 Familiarity with clinical databases, data curation, and data wrangling is a plus
