Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance for business operations and application development to ensure application is running optimally in production, test, and development environments.
  • Respond to production issues by reporting, logging, escalating, and tracking issues through resolution.
  • Provide on call support to handle application or infrastructure production issues.
  • Attain knowledge of the application and the infrastructure to conduct troubleshooting.
  • Support and monitor Cloud hosted applications.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving, often looking beyond the obvious solution to a problem and digging deeper for the best solution.
  • Write scripts, reviews scripts for others, and review output.
  • Manage change requests to include entering, monitoring and follow-up.
  • Analyze details of issues to provide cause and resolution using AppDynamics and Splunk
  • Support testing of production fixes to ensure resolution following Software Development Life Cycle and Agile.
  • Communicate complicated application issues to varied audiences, some with limited technical knowledge.
  • Use automated monitoring and job scheduling alerts to act on potential production issues.
