Job description

Infosys is seeking a Data Analyst. This position's primary responsibility will be to help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations. The role holder will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC / New York, NY & Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable tasks.
  • Experience in Agile development framework, product lifecycle development and JIRA.
  • Experience with Power BI, Python APIs/libraries coding, Datastore.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Atleast 8 years of working experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
  • At least 6 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable task.
  • Ability to deliver results in a techno-functional role.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming.
  • Deep understanding of Capital Markets and Credit Rating Agencies.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues and propose improvements.
  • Ability to author thorough, detailed, high-quality doc, including customer journey maps, user stories, use cases and test scripts, Managing requirements, and design-related activities for complex, multi-business, multi-system initiatives.
  • Agile developement framework, product lifecycle development and JIRA.
  • Have good project management and organization skills but their core and primary skill still needs to be a Business Analyst/Data Analyst.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
