Job Title: Mongo DB Data Architect

Duties: Overview: The Data Architect will be responsible for working with business users, SMEs, peer developers and other analysts to deliver high quality data models, architectural designs and ETL processes to populate dimension/non-dimensional structures supporting analytics and reporting needs of the organization. The Data Architect assists in the development and maintenance of data structures, transfer and processing of data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to configure schema and MongoDB data modelling Experience in Database design, administration, and security management Knowledge of MongoDB administration, installation, troubleshooting in AWS and Linux environments In-depth understanding of MongoDB architecture Meeting with business users & stake holders to capture and analyze requirements for data supporting transactional, analytics and reporting needs; Responsible for data modeling, system/data analysis, design and development for Applications, data marts & semantic layer to support analytics and reporting needs; Build conceptual/logical/physical data models using concepts like star-schema modeling, snowflake schema modeling, fact and dimension tables; Develop ETL processes and assist other ETL developers in populating the data from the transactional system to the data marts to for easy analytics & reporting; Implement slowly changing dimensions as well as transaction, accumulating snapshot, and periodic snapshot fact tables; Assess technological options and design offerings supporting scalable, high-performance, and highly available environments; Create and maintain documentation deliverables including, but not limited to process models, architecture diagrams, data models, data flow diagrams, metadata, glossaries, data dictionary, entity relationship diagrams, data mapping documents, BUS matrix and other data design artifacts that define technical data specifications and transformation rules; Ensure teams follow best practices regarding coding standards, code reviews, and testing (including unit, integration, and system test); Partner with Engineers and architects to ensure developed solutions adhere to established best patterns and our architectural target state; Develop principles, strategies and frameworks on data governance and data management.

Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement; Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.

Strong background in Data Modeling, Data Management, PL/SQL, ETL Processes and Database Performance Practices Experience working with Microservices and commercial cloud data platforms.

Skills: Job Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience with Health Plan data models;

6+ years of overall experience in IT. Experience with databases in Commercial cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS), Oracle, PostgreSQL and Snowflake is preferred.

4+years of Mondo DB exp

4+ years of experience in logical & physical modeling (designing

4+ dimensional data models/facts/slowly changing dimensions from

4+ scratch); years' experience in data warehouse design/maintenance;

2+ years' experience with Informatica IICS;

Strong working knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, metadata management, database design and development, ETL processes, semantic layer development and preferably visualization tools (e.g. Tableau); Technical proficiency with good interpersonal, problem solving and documentation skills; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment; Ability to work under tight deadline and fast paced environment; Experience working on an Agile SCRUM team is a plus.

Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, related field (or equivalent experience)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
