About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data solutions on the AWS platform. This role requires a deep understanding of data migrations, AWS data warehousing, and proficiency in Python, AWS Glue, Databricks, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Data Solutions: Architect and implement scalable data solutions on AWS, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Data Warehousing: Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions using AWS services such as Redshift.
• ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL processes using AWS Glue and other relevant tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficient data handling and processing.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Migrations: Proven experience in solutioning and mapping data migrations.
• AWS Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS data warehousing services, including Redshift, S3, and RDS.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• ETL Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS Glue for ETL processes.
• Big Data Platforms: Experience with Databricks for big data processing and analytics.
• SQL Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty.
• Experience with Other Tools: Familiarity with other data processing tools and frameworks.
