Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Climate controlled environment!

As a Data Center Cable Technician you will:

• Use your knowledge of copper (UTP, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) and fiber optic cable
• Assemble and install of servers, switches and cabling.
• Use your knowledge of data rack cabling standards and best practices.
• You will work as a 2 person team to lift servers on the racks
• Terminate cable and distribution frames.
• Install of support structures.
• Read and interpret various types of build documents, schematics, and cable running lists.
• Safely operate various hand tools, maintain accurate inventory, and maintain safety standards

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ year data center experience with a willingness to learn.
• Hands on experience with power cabling for servers, Fiber or CAT5, CAT6 Cabling
• Ability to read schematics for proper wiring of servers
• Experience in a data center or Central office Cabling & loading servers into racks
• Experience Rack Stacking or Rack integration, Cabling (Rack & Stack)
• Labeling and troubleshooting

This is a long term government project site. Convert from contingent to hire 90 days or sooner!

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
